We’re happy to announce that our good friends Realms have released their new EP titled Echo Chamber.

FFO: Funeral For A Friend, Saosin, Underoath, BFMV.

The Doncaster post-hardcore emo outfit’s EP is a steep improvement on their previous releases and you can clearly tell that they’ve put their all into each of the tracks on this. The production is great, the music is well written, the vocals fit the bill and the record overall is a banger.

“We’ve worked really hard on this EP to write the best songs we could and couldn’t be happier with the results, so please give it a listen and let us know what you think.”

Track listing:

1 Hung. Drawn. Quartered.

2 Wallflower

3 Painted Demons

4 Zealot

It’s hard to avoid the stink of nostalgia within the first 10 seconds of opening track ‘Hung.Drawn. Quartered.’, but in a good way of course. You don’t regularly get this sound popping up at venues around Sheffield and South Yorkshire anymore.

My stand out track is ‘Zealot’ the closing track on the EP, I can’t help but hear a little While She Sleeps infused into their post/emo sound on this song. The drop out around 3:00 in ‘Zealot’, followed by the build up is a sure fire headbanger, shhhhh!

Side note: This EP should definitely be one for your ‘heavy workout session in the gym’ playlist, I imagine it’d be perfect. I wouldn’t know though because I don’t go gymming.
